What this Etsy fee calculator includes
Etsy’s current base structure includes a $0.20 listing fee, a 6.5% transaction fee on the item price plus charged shipping and gift wrap, and a country-specific Etsy Payments fee. An attributed Offsite Ads order can add 15%, or 12% after a shop reaches the program’s $10,000 threshold. This calculator keeps production and fulfillment costs separate so “revenue after Etsy” is not mistaken for profit.

Etsy pricing questions
Does Etsy charge transaction fees on shipping?
Yes. Etsy states that its 6.5% transaction fee applies to the listing price plus shipping and gift wrapping charged to the buyer.
Why is Offsite Ads optional in the calculator?
The fee applies only to orders attributed to an Offsite Ad. Shops below the threshold may opt out; qualifying shops pay the reduced 12% rate and participation becomes required.
Does this include income tax?
No. Income tax depends on the seller and jurisdiction and is not an order-level Etsy fee.
